I had the great joy of meeting this gal in Toronto a few weeks ago, photographing her live-drawing in the window of the Bata Shoe Museum. I didn't know what to expect, but watching someone face a blank canvas at noon hour, drawing seemingly disconnected lines, and then returning in mere hours to see these lines all connected into a larger, improvised, personal piece about a city she's never been to before? Super impressive.
And not a single bottle of White-Out in sight.
